You type the same greeting, closing, and status update dozens of times a day and want a faster path than copy-paste from a notes app.
A template in Omni is saved text with a shortcut that is a bare word, such as hi or thanks. There is no trigger prefix to remember; the word alone is the trigger. Expansion works in any text field on any site, and the free plan holds 5 templates.
Open the templates editor from the toolbar or the command palette and create your template with a shortcut you will not type by accident. In a reply field, type the shortcut and press Tab. If it does not expand, check that the word immediately before the cursor exactly matches the shortcut.
